The M5 series molded-case circuit breakers are suitable for circuits with AC 50 Hz/60 Hz, a rated insulation voltage of AC 800 V, and rated operating voltages of AC 400 V/AC 690 V, as well as rated currents ranging from 16 A to 630 A. They are designed for infrequent switching operations and infrequent motor starting. The circuit breakers provide overload long-time delay and short-circuit instantaneous tripping functions. Based on their rated short-circuit breaking capacity, they are classified into three types: L (basic breaking), M (higher breaking), and H (high breaking).
