They are designed for infrequent switching operations and for the infrequent starting of electric motors in circuits with rated currents up to 1250 A (for models I W630 A and below). The circuit breakers provide overload, short‑circuit, and undervoltage protection, safeguarding both the circuit and connected power equipment from damage.
